Commissions

Commission work is an opportunity for me to explore ideas outside of my normal art practice, often using different materials and processes which can sometimes lead to new discoveries. I am therefore always happy to discuss any commission opportunities.

‘Atelo’ 2016 watercolour and on paper

Eyre Llew’ are an atmospheric ambient-rock trio from Nottingham, UK, described as one of the city’s most exciting prospects in years.

I am lucky enough to have known them for some time and to have worked on a number of projects together. In 2016 I produce this piece of artwork for the album cover of their debut album ‘Atelo’, released to critical acclaim the following year.

‘Hendrix’ 2012 watercolour on paper

This piece was commissioned by a lifelong fan of Jimi Hendrix. The design was based on a mixture of portrait photographs and gig posters. The properties of watercolour paint were ideal for creating a psychedelic ‘purple haze’ effect.

‘Wedding Invite’ 2016 watercolour on paper

I have a keen interest in typography, and I find calligraphy and hand-drawn fonts an enjoyable challenge.

In 2016 I was commissioned to produce this piece for two friends, later used on their wedding invites.
